In 1985, James J. Paff was offered a challenge at his church: take five dollars, use or invest it, and examine the results at the end of a month’s time. James took his money, bought a few pieces of steel and fabricated a pair of footrests for a friend’s ATV. He took his five dollars and transformed it into sixty dollars. This marked the beginning of a new business.
After seeing that doing this work on his own could be profitable, in 1988 James started a small welding and fabrication business based in his garage. The business grew rapidly, triggering a need for a new facility. A new shop was erected at the North Sewickley Township location; Paff Custom Welding was born.
In 2005 Paff Custom Welding became a Limited Liability Corporation, maintaining a large network of customers and suppliers in the Tri-State Area. The company operates under the management of James J. Paff with an employee base of four full-time employees and one part-time employee.
PCW entertains corporate contracts in construction, contracting, logistics, manufacturing, fabrication and design, and private fabrication and repairs, providing customers with high-quality products and custom innovations with competitive prices and expert service.
Paff Custom Welding currently operates in 12,000 square foot facility in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. The current complex houses a well-equipped arsenal of industry-leading equipment and processes. They also have a 2,000 square foot facility located in North Sewickley Township, Beaver Falls, PA for the convenience of it's customers.
The new facility has increased available production space ten-fold. PCW will continue to expand its current operations as well as entertain and develop new customers and services.
